This 2014 METROsquash Windy City Open presented by Guggenheim and EquiTrust Life Insurance Company offers the richest prize purse Chicago Squash has ever seen.   This year's event will welcome the women back with a WSA GOLD event that should also attract most of the world's top 10 women squash professionals.

The 2014 METROsquash Windy City Open presented by Guggenheim & EquiTrust Life Insurance Company features a professional sanctioned tournament that will attract 28 world class squash professionals, all vying for one of the most well-known titles in North America. The Windy City Open was first held in 1981 as a hardball game, when the Illinois Squash Association decided it was time for Chicago to get on the Pro Tour bandwagon. In the 90s, The Windy City Open changed to the international softball game and has since continued to be an exciting feature in the international professional squash calendar, having featured former World Champions Peter Nicol
